About me

Dr Hart is a consultant pain management specialist with over 20 years experience. He practices at Spire Harpenden, One Hatfield and Spire Bushey Hospitals. His NHS work is at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Dr Hart has expertise in the management of spine pain including sciatica and neck problems. He follows a conservative pain management approach that may include injections such as epidurals, medial branch nerve block or radio frequency ablation. Other specialist interests include shoulder pain, vulvodynia, pelvic pain, CRPS and fibromyalgia.

At the 2012 Olympic Games and 2017 IAAF World Championships Dr Hart was a team leader of the emergency medical team attending the athletes competing in the Olympic Stadium. He regularly undertakes the role of a pitch side doctor managing sports injuries.

In January 2019 Dr Hart's professional medical practice and standards have been revalidated by the General Medical Council.
