About me

Hannah is an experienced Clinical Psychologist specialising in parental, child and adolescent wellbeing. She is skilled in supporting and enabling parents, children and families to talk about difficult and emotive topics, and adjust to challenges including the transition to parenthood, loss and bereavement.

Hannah offers psychological therapy to mothers and fathers during the perinatal phase, including for people experiencing anxiety and/or low mood during pregnancy or after their baby is born and following a traumatic birth experience. Hannah supports children and families when a child or parent/carer has a physical illness, or following the death of a child or parent. Hannah also has expertise in supporting children and young people experiencing emotional distress (e.g. anxiety, low mood and panic) and challenges with daily functioning such as toileting (e.g. constipation, withholding, soiling or wetting), sleep difficulties and feeding difficulties.

The wellbeing of parents during the perinatal period including emotional challenges during and after pregnancy, loss, miscarriage or fertility difficulties, adjustment when becoming a parent; antenatal anxiety; post-natal depression; postnatal anxiety; support following a difficult or traumatic birth experience;

Helping children and adolescents to adapt to and cope with physical illness including the emotional impact of physical illness;

Bereavement support for children and parents including for parents and children whose child, baby or sibling has died;

Support for children (aged 0-18 years) experiencing emotional distress including anxiety, depression, panic and trauma;

Children experiencing toileting Difficulties (e.g. constipation, soiling, wetting and withholding); Children experiencing sleep difficulties; Children with feeding difficulties;

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT); Narrative Therapy; Solution Focussed Therapy
