About me

I have been practicing as an NHS and Private consultant general and colorectal surgeon in Chelmsford since 1999.
Between 2011 and 2016 I was the Clinical Director for surgery at Broomfield Hospital. I remain lead for colorectal surgery and cancer and Chair the Essex Lower GI Cancer Group.
I have led various managerial and safety groups in the NHS over the last 19 years of practice.
I have always played a major role in the training of surgeons and for 8 years was a member of the Court of Examiners for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
