This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.
Please call the Bupa Eye Care team to find out more about and to pre-authorise your treatment on 0345 600 7267.
I have been a Consultant Ophthalmologist for 19 years, 17 years of which I was a full-time Consultant with an interest in Vitreo-retinal and General Ophthalmic surgery at Blackpool Victoria Hospital (BVH). At present I run a weekly cataract clinic and cataract surgical theatre list at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. I no longer perform Vitreo-retinal surgery, however I am happy to provide VR opinions.

I perform laser treatments for post cataract capsule thickening: YAG capsulotomy, laser treatments for glaucoma: YAG and argon.
