About me
I am an integrative psychotherapist and work with psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive approaches. I believe it is important to look at current problems and long term difficulties in the context of one's whole life, and together, try to discover the links between past and present experiences. My work is also informed by Attachment Theory, understanding how early attachment experiences impact ongoing relationships.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to the code of ethics of both of these institutions. I trained as a psychotherapist at Regents University with a PGDip in Psychotherapy & Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy. I also hold a BA degree.
Areas of interest
I work with adults aged 18 and over.
Conditions I work with include anxiety; depression; bereavement; relationship difficulties; stress; trauma; self-esteem issues; and self harm.
