About me
Claire completed her undergraduate Psychology degree at Goldsmiths College, University of London in 1999 and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Lancaster University in 2005. She works part time in the NHS as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and has specialist experience working with children, young people, adults and families in health care settings.
Claire has a specialist interest in the third wave CBT approach called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has undergone postgraduate training in ACT for working with adults, children and adolescents, physical health conditions, and trauma issues.
Claire is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
