About me

Mr Shoakazemi is a UK trained consultant neurosurgeon. He completed FRCS (Neurosurgery) in 2014. He completed the prestigious Manchester skull base surgery fellowship in addition to fellowship training in North America.

He is specialised in Cranial neurosurgery. He has an interest in skull base surgery, Brain tumours, pituitary surgery, vestibular schwannoma, trigeminal neuralgia and other cranial procedures. Additionally, he treats patients with back pain, degenerative spine and disc disease. He utilises a multidisciplinary approach to brain tumours at London Independent Hospital to achieve the best results.

He is currently working as a substantive consultant neurosurgeon at Queen’s Hospital where he is an active member of skull base surgery and neurooncology multidisciplinary team.

He has extensively published in peer review high impact neurosurgical journals.
