About me

Since qualifying in 1985 Mr Ford has had broad training and experience in both teaching and district hospitals and was appointed in 1998 as Consultant with special interest in Gynaecological Oncology.
He moved from South East London in 2002 to head up the Diagnostic and Colposcopy services and is lead for Colposcopy at Royal Surrey County Hospital as well as the rapid access service.
Mr Ford is primarily involved in Gynaecology and all of its diverse problems. He uses a range of modalities including minimal access surgery to help patients and treat their underlying problems.

Areas of interest

Gynaecology; menstrual problems and menopause; colposcopy; vulval disease including genital lichen planus; urinary tract problems; minimal access surgery and prolapse surgery.
