Overview

About me

I run a tertiary referral adult glaucoma service at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and have been at the forefront of service transformation in glaucoma care since my appointment. I regularly assess patients for the diagnosis of glaucoma and cataract. This includes undertaking optic nerve imaging and visual field tests. I manage glaucoma medically and with laser treatments. I regularly perform cataract surgery and can offer a number of different surgical procedures for glaucoma as appropriate for each individual.

I also have a longstanding interest in medical education and am currently Associate Director of Medical Education at Manchester Foundation Trust. I am a Trustee, Council member and Chair of GTRaining for Royal College of Ophthalmologists; promoting high standards of training across the UK.
