About me

I was appointed as a consultant in 2000 following my training programme in the Mersey Region and research post at the Christies hospital in Manchester. Currently I am the trust lead for gynaecological cancer and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. My main areas of expertise are in the management of abnormal uterine bleeding ( including post menopausal), pelvic masses, pelvic pain and colposcopy. I currently perform around 200 laparoscopic procedures per year including hysterectomies and removal of ovaries, most of which are performed as day cases
