Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a BACP-accredited therapist in Buckhurst Hill who can help you to understand life's problems, feel more able to cope and positively move on with your life. I work with adults and young people, offering face-to-face, online and telephone sessions.
Areas of interest
I am a trained integrative therapist, which means I incorporate different styles of therapy into my practice. These therapeutic styles include Psychodynamic, Person-Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). We are all different and my approach respects that. Visit my counselling page (https://spettittcounselling.com/types-of-therapy) for more information about these approaches.
I support clients with many concerns, but specialise in anxiety (inc. panic attacks); depression; stress; bereavement and loss; personal relationships; physical, emotional, sexual abuse; and trauma. I also work with specific anxiety disorders; childhood issues; low self-esteem; obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD); self-harm and suicidal thoughts. Visit my counselling page (https://spettittcounselling.com/common-concerns) for more information about my experience with these concerns.
I work with men and women of all ages, ethnicities and cultures. I also see young people at the centre (11 years +).
