About me

Dr Veronique Bataille has worked as a consultant dermatologist in London and Hertfordshire for 18 years. She worked as a Senior Lecturer at Barts and the London from 1996 to 2003. There she was the clinical and academic lead on melanoma. She then moved to West Herts NHS Trust in Hertfordshire where she continued her interest in melanoma and skin cancer where she is chair of the skin cancer network. She also is a member of the multidisciplinary melanoma clinic at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood. She remains a Senior Lecturer and Honoroary Consultant Dermatologist at King's College, London where she leads the skin research at the Twin Research Unit with successful research programs. She continues an active academic career in melanoma research and skin photo-ageing and teaches regularly medical students and postgraduates either in clinic or lectures.
