About me

Hello, my name is Neelam Kumari and I am a qualified and fully accredited CBT Therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I have over 5 years experience as a CBT Therapist working within the NHS, including Primary Care (IAPT) and Specialist Eating Disorders Services.

I believe in working collaboratively and compassionately with individuals, supporting them from beginning to the end to meet their therapeutic goals. Each treatment is tailored to each individual's needs and aims, and I endeavour to provide quality evidence based treatment with the person at the heart.

I specialise in working with Anxiety related difficulties (OCD, Panic Attacks, Social and Performance Anxiety, Worry and Phobias) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder/trauma related issues. I have also worked extensively with Depression and Eating Disorders and have received formal training and worked extensively with CBT-E for Eating Disorders.
