About me

Professor Zoe Winters is an Honorary Professor of Breast Surgery at University College London (UCL) and has practised as a Senior Consultant Onncoplastic Breast Surgeon since 2000. Zoe offers weekly one stop diagnostic breast care clinics together with experts using the latest breast imaging techniques and 72 hour pathology results. Zoe is committed to combining safe cancer surgery combined with optimal cosmetic results, with all cases discussed using expert consensus multidisciplinary meetings.

Zoe trained at leading University Hospitals in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa before receiving the Oxford Nuffield Senior Research Fellowship to complete her PhD in Molecular Biology at the University of Oxford, Worcester College with the world leading Medical Oncologist Professor Adrian Harris.

Zoe was awarded the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh King James IV Professorship for her contributions to Surgery Research in 2001. She was also awarded an Honorary Chair in Surgery at University College London working with the Surgery Interventional Trials Unit in the Department of Surgery and Interventional Science in 2017. She has run two world first breast cancer clinical trials working with UCL where she currently leads her clinical academic research.
