About me

I am the senior gynaecologist at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, one of the biggest hospitals in the country and Director of the Endometriosis Service. I receive referrals from across the UK for laparoscopic (key hole) surgery for non-cancerous gynaecological conditions.

I am the President of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (www.bsge.org.uk) and have served on the Council of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, with lead roles in the training of future gynaecological surgeons in both organisations.

I am the preceptor for training in advanced gynaecological laparoscopic surgery at Southmead Hospital, which is one of only 10 hospitals in the UK to be recognised for this specialist training on the basis of our workload.
