About me

I offer individual and family therapy services to help make sense of clients' predicaments and alleviate distress. I am a BACP Accredited Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and work with adults, children, young people and families.

I can combine my counselling work with the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapy for separation anxiety, general anxiety PTSD and depression.

EMDR is an effective way of tackling worries of returning to school after lockdown and for general phobias in children.

Randomised controlled studies support the use of psychodynamic therapy and EMDR for anxiety, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder.

I work for CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) of the NHS. I have gained great knowledge and experience in working with young people who are Looked After or Adopted and am an Approved Counsellor for Adoption issues.

I am also qualified to work with the EAP (Employment Assistance Programme) and am a psychotherapist Provider for BUPA, Vitality and Nuffield Health.
