About me

Having completed gastroenterology and hepatology training in Sheffield and Leeds , (including experience in the regional liver transplant unit and an MD thesis from the University of Sheffield) I was appointed to my current post as consultant gastroenterologist in 1996. I have extensive experience in general gastroenterology and hepatology, with a particular interest in advanced endoscopy and colonoscopy. I am the clinical director and lead colonoscopist of the Lancashire screening programme and an accredited regional trainer
