Laura is a registered Dietitian who has experience in acute NHS settings, Clinics and in a Community Hospital.
She graduated from the University of Surrey in 2014 and has been registered with the BDA and HCPC since.
She has worked in the NHS for 10 years which includes her time as a Health Care Assistant whilst at University. This gave Laura the chance to truly appreciate the day-to-day hospital experience for her patients she would meet once graduated.
Her NHS speciality is as a Neuro Sciences Dietitian. It is here that she works with a range of patients who have had a Stroke, Head Injury or diagnosed with a life long condition such as Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis or Myasthenia Gravis etc. However, through her varied experience she is also able to support other areas of nutrition which are listed below.
Her experience, from a variety of patients and settings, will ensure you have an effective, supportive and non-judgemental consultation.
Laura's overall aim is to work with you by helping give the tools, resources and knowledge you need. This way you will be able to make the right choices and decisions to make sure you stay on the right path.
