About me

I am the senior consultant surgeon at Brighton and Sussex University Hospital where I am a member of the colorectal cancer MDT I am a member of the colorectal cancer screening colonoscopy service and have a special expertise in the detection and treatment of colorectal polyps and cancers. I have special expertise in Laparoscopic surgery, Trans anal Endoscopic Microscopic surgery (both TEMS and TAMIS) allowing rectal preservation in selected cases of rectal cancer. I am an international tutor and national trainer in these procedures. I have a 20 years experience of day surgery including open hernia repair, Laparoscopic hernia repair and Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. I am experience in the investigation and treatment of all causes of rectal bleeding and the minimally invasive treatment of Haemorrhoids.
