About me

Mr Basavaiah Natesh is a consultant Ear Nose Throat (ENT), Head and Neck Surgeon, and Airway surgeon at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust since 2017. He completed ENT and Head Neck Surgery training in India and had higher surgical training in ENT surgery included placements at recognised centres of excellence at South East of England Hospitals. He gained a wide experience in all aspects of general adult and paediatric ear, nose, throat disorders including airway disorders and tracheal pathologies.

Mr Natesh had further training in advanced Head and Neck cancer surgery at Cambridge Addenbrookes Hospitals and also completed one year Internationally recognised Fellowship in Advanced Head & Neck cancer surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London before taking Consultant job at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. He has developed special interest in minimally invasive thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland surgeries and has experience of performing over few 100 surgeries each year. He has established Upper Airway disorder Multi Disciplinary Service at UHCW and managing patients who presents with difficulty breathing due to airway pathologies.

He is actively involved in research activities in Head & Neck Surgery and sleep apnoea management and presented his work in various National and International meetings. His research work is published number of research articles in various high impact factor journals.

He is involved as a faculty regularly for various national and international meetings, Head and Neck surgical training courses and he has been accredited trainer for training ENT/Head & Neck surgery trainees in West Midland training programme.
