About me

I am a very experienced counsellor. I have worked in voluntary settings, Relate as a young persons counsellor, as a counsellor and supervisor in an IAPT team (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) which offers short term therapy and run a busy private practice for over 10 years.

My starting point is respect for my clients and their ability to resolve their problems. I draw on a broad range of counselling models and skills, which enable me to meet the diverse needs and personalities of my clients.

I provide a safe and confidential environment for you to work through your difficulties, in a non-directive way, supporting you to find your own answers.

I am experienced in working with difficulties in relationships including work related issues, self-esteem, bereavement, post-traumatic stress, the impact of domestic abuse, depression, anxiety, addiction, the effect of physical illness on our emotional well being, the impact of both childhood and adult sexual trauma, physical abuse and neglect.
