About me

I qualified in 1984 from Manchester medical school and trained in the speciality of obstetrics and gynaecology in the North West.
After I obtained my membership exam in O&G, I worked in an IVF unit for 4 years developing my interest in subfertility. I became a consultant in 2002 at Trafford General Hospital,and transferred to UHSM in 2010 when maternity services were reorganised in the region.I continue to see patients with a wide variety of gynaecological complaints both in the NHS and privately.
I continue to work at Wythenshawe hospital in the NHS.In addition to my clinical commitments there, I have been the the RCOG( royal college of Obstetricians and gynaecologists )tutor since 2013.

I perform all routine gynaecological surgery excluding urogynaecological procedures.
