About me

About me

Dr Ahmed Alqaissi specialises in all areas of endocrinology and diabetes. He attained his MRCP in 2012 in London and went on to complete his Diabetes and Endocrinology Training in numerous hospitals across West Yorkshire, where he is now based. He attained his MD research degree from Hull York Medical School.

Current NHS posts held

Consultant Endocrinologist in the Leeds Teaching Hospitals, and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Medicine at Leeds University.

Areas of interest

Dr Alqaissi’s clinical areas of expertise covers all aspects of general diabetes and endocrinology, including; Thyroid, Parathyroid, Adrenal, Gonads and Pituitary gland. His areas of interest also include; abnormal lipid profile, abnormal electrolytes like calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium and vitamin D.
