About me

As a senior surgeon in Norwich, I have carried out in excess of 5000 major joint replacements since being appointed as a consultant in Norwich, 25 years ago.

I regularly carry out complex hip joint reconstructions which I find particularly rewarding!

In 2015-2016, I was the President of The British Hip Society, was Consultant Staff Chair at The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from 2016-2018 and am now the Medical Staff Governor to The Trust.

I have carried out Invited Reviews for The Royal College of Surgeons of England and Fitness To Practice Assessments for The General Medical Council.

I have 32 peer-reviewed research publications to my name.
