About me
Elizabeth is the director and lead physiotherapist of Nebula Physio and Wellbeing Ltd. She has over eight years’ experience of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has worked in both the NHS and private sector. She is currently completing the final dissertation for a post-graduate masters program in Advanced Physiotherapy through the University of Hertfordshire.
Elizabeth is experienced in all areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has experience in vestibular/dizziness conditions.
Complex spinal conditions, headaches and disorders affecting the pelvis and hips are the areas Elizabeth specialises in. In particular she has a special interest in working with people who are suffering from chronic pain.
Fully trained in medical acupuncture, Elizabeth is able to incorporate this into treatment sessions. She is a member of the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) and BMAS (British Medical Acupuncture Society) and attends regular acupuncture CPD training events to continually progress her skills.
Elizabeth also has training in psychological therapies for persistent pain conditions. She has training in Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Integrating these skills into physiotherapy management strategies allows her to provide a holistic approach to maximise long-term improvements.
Additionally, Elizabeth is trained to teach physiotherapist-led clinical Pilates (APPI), including antenatal and postnatal Pilates.
