About me

I have been a Consultant Haematologist for 21 years with specialist expertise in haematological malignancies (adults) and stem cell transplantation (adults and children). I am Associate Medical Director and Head of the Transplant Service at The Royal Marsden which is the largest transplant centre in the UK. I also treat patients with chemotherapy / new agents for a wide variety of haematological malignancies. I also see patients for investigation of possible blood conditions e.g. anaemias, abnormal white blood cell or platelet counts. I am a full time clinician and one of the most experienced haematologists in my field in the UK. My research is centred on improving treatment outcomes and I always try to communicate well with patients in a clear, honest and empathic manner.
