About me

I qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital London in 1984 and trained in Medical Oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
I have been a Consultant Medical Oncologist since 1995 specialising in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers.
I have published over 60 peer-reviewed papers and am the Chief Investigator of the SCOT study and presented the results at ASCO 2017 and 2019.
I was appointed Professor of Gastro-Intestinal Oncology at Southampton University in 2020.
