About me

Welcome, I have had a varied career path and was inspired by my therapist and completed my training at The Gestalt Centre - London in 2014. I am a BACP Accredited Gestalt therapist and work with individuals and couples. I bring to my practice over 10 years’ experience which includes working in and managing local counselling community organisation, social services and youth counselling.

I am currently in private practice and my passion lies in raising body awareness and supporting others to work through their unfinished business.I work with my clients in a safe and supportive environment that is not based on assumptions and is based on curiosity and openness.

My key skills are to help create meaning when life hits you with a ‘curve ball’. I am committed to providing person centred support which empowers individuals's awareness and growth. There is no fixed method or one size fits all solution. Gestalt is about working in the present but does not exclude the past. As a Gestalt therapist I enjoy looking at patterns, stuck loops of behaviour and I believe by raising self-awareness this can lead to having more choices and thriving in life. Gestalt focuses on noticing body sensations and tensions and by raising awareness of the body we can become better equipped to self-care.
