Dr Berntsen is a Counselling Psychologist and Neuropsychologist providing assessments and treatments for individuals of all ages and concerns. She provides solution focused and short-term interventions (e.g. CBT and mindfulness based approaches to improve behavioural control) and counselling/psychotherapy for longer term interventions. She has experience from CAMHS and adult inpatient as well as a number of years working with private patients and health insurance.
She also provides neurorehabilitation treatments for individuals recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury and consequences of neurodegenerative disorders including brain stimulation (TMS and tES), quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG) and Neurofeedback.
