About me
Dr Sanderson has a specialist interest in CAR T cells, lymphoid disorders and stem cell transplantation.
He completed his medical and haematological training at Guy's and St Thomas', King's College, and St Bartholomew's Hospitals, as well as haematology and stem cell transplant fellowships in Sydney teaching hospitals in Australia. He gained his certificate of completion of specialist training in haematology in London in 2014.
Dr Sanderson has completed his PhD, investigating CAR T cells in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and lymphoma and their modulation with immunotherapy in preclinical models, at Barts Cancer Institute. He was appointed Consultant Haemato-oncologist at King's College Hospital for the CAR T cell programme and to work within the lymphoma and stem cell transplantation services.
