About us

Nabil Haddad is a Consultant Gynaecologist and specialist in Reproductive Medicine and surgery at Cheshire Womens Health and the Countess of Chester Hospital, Chester.
Nabil Haddad qualified in medicine in Cairo in 1976. He trained in London, Southampton, Liverpool and Edinburgh.
In 1989, Nabil was appointed as a Consultant Gynaecologist in Chester.
He developed the Fertility and Assisted Conception Service and has led the service since. Nabil was instrumental in pioneering transport IVF and had the first ever successful baby from that technique in 1990.
Nabil is an expert in Gynaecological Vaginal Ultrasound Scans, management of Recurrent Miscarriages and of Recurrent Implantation Failure in IVF cycles.
Nabil specialises in the ‘Optimisation of Outcome for Assisted Reproduction’.
In addition, he has a vast experience in the management of Menstrual Disorders, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Fibroids, Endometriosis, Infertility and Assisted Conception and is an accredited colposcopist and RCOG Preceptor for Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery.
Nabil Haddad is a member of many national and international learned societies including the British Fertility Society, the European Society of Human Reproduction and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Nabil served on the Executive of the British Fertility Society and is a long standing member of the North West Colposcopy and Cervical Cytology Quality Assurance.

He runs Fertility and Gynaecology Clinics in Chester and North Wales at Spire Abergele Consulting Rooms. Nabil’s clinically orientated research interest is in total fertility management and he advocates a ‘Fitness for Fertility’ approach in order to prepare couples for treatment and improve successful outcome.
