About me

I am a fully accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist with over 32 years experience of working as a nurse and Psychotherapist in the NHS.

I offer a professional and confidential service, providing individual CBT sessions, based around your needs. Where appropriate I can offer telephone and Skype/Zoom/Facetime video calls.

I have a wealth of experience working with people with Depression, Anxiety disorders including OCD, Panic, Generalised anxiety, PTSD, Phobia's, Social anxiety, Health anxiety; Sleep problems, Stress, Low confidence and Low self esteem.

I have a warm compassionate approach, helping you to quickly feel at ease and make the most of your sessions. My aim is to help you to understand your difficulties and learn CBT skills and techniques, to help you to live your life in the direction you want.

These are your sessions and I feel it is of utmost importance that my approach meets your needs and essentially helps you to meet your chosen goals.

I am a registered Mindfulness teacher and where appropriate am happy to draw upon Mindfulness based approaches, to help you with your difficulties.

I have also completed significant training in Compassion focused therapy where low self esteem may be a problem.
