About me

I'm an experienced, fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist - and a friendly, down to earth human being!

25 years ago I trained as a volunteer youth counsellor, using person-centred therapy. Since then my training has taken me through Psychodynamic counselling and finally to CBT. I love the collaboration, flexibility and pragmatism that a CBT approach offers. As therapist and client we join forces, sharing our expertise and skills to explore, learn, and work things through, to help you feel happier and more in control of your life.

Before setting up my own practice I spent 12 years working for the NHS in mental health services, the last 6 years as a Senior Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. I hold a First Class Honours degree as well as Post-Graduate Diplomas in Mental Health Studies and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
