About me

Extensive training in the specialty of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in UK and Europe.

UK training completed on the North East Thames Rotation in internationally renowned units including The Royal London Hospital, Great Ormond Street and University College London Hospital.

Rhinoplasty ( Nose reshaping ) and Facial Plastic Surgery fellowship completed in Rome,Italy.

Currently also an NHS consultant at the Homerton Hospital in central London treating the full scope of general Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery including facial skin cancers. Member of the Skin Multidisciplinary meeting.

Responsible for training of junior members of the team and foundation year trainees rotating through department.
Responsible for Oral & Maxillofacial teaching in the department.

Joint Clinical lead for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and responsible for day to day running of department.

Mr Kassam offers all routine oral & maxillofacial surgeries at Homerton Hospital and subspecialises in salivary gland surgery, facial skin cancer removal and reconstruction, temporomandibular joint disorders ( TMJ ) and facial pain and cosmetic facial surgery.
