About me

Dr Tordoff trained in Cape Town, South Africa and graduated in 1980. He moved to the United Kingdom in 1987 and he was appointed as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management in 1993. He initially worked in Northampton before moving to Leicester in 2001. Dr Tordoff is based at the Leicester General Hospital. He has just retired from the NHS pain clinic and LOROS, where he treated pain from cancer in patients but is still clinically active in these areas at the private hopsital.
Dr Tordoff's clinical interests involve the management of patients with persistent (chronic) pain, including back and neck pain, joint and muscle pain, neuropathic pain, and pain following trauma. He has a special interest in patients with cancer-related pain.

His treatment includes medications, complementary and physical therapies and nerve blocks which include ablations of nerves with radio-frequency (microwave).
