About me

*Please note I am able to provide services remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.(including Positive Parenting Programmes)*.
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist, with over 18 years' experience of working in the NHS. After completing my undergraduate degree, I completed my Masters in Health Psychology at the University of Nottingham, and then completed my Doctoral training at the University of Manchester in 2008. Since qualifying I have gained invaluable experience at the Birmingham Children's Hospital and then at the Leicester Royal Infirmary where I have worked for over nine years.

I draw upon a range of evidence based psychological models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Systemic approaches, Health psychology, mindfulness, Triple-P and Early bird (NAS).

I am also on the diversity committee at the university & contribute to research in this area.
