About me

Dr. Sean Harmon is a Counselling Psychologist with considerable experience working in primary care, secondary care, and specialist psychological services across various health and social care trusts.

Having obtained an MSc in Psychology (BPS Conversion), Dr. Harmon went on to complete a further MSc in Applied Psychology (Mental Health & Psychological Therapies). This programme included training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and AFT Foundation Level in Family Therapy and Systemic Practice.

Whilst completing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, Dr. Harmon was trained in humanistic and experiential psychotherapies, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy.
Since then, Dr. Harmon has trained in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

Dr. Harmon is experienced in the diagnosis of intellectual disability and Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as specialist psychological interventions.
