About me

I am an enthusiastic dietitian, keen to help people improve their quality of life, and I fully believe that the right diet and nutrition can make a huge difference to your health and well-being.

Apart from several years of experience in private practice and working in hospitals, I have range of professional qualifications; I have completed a BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, a Masters in Human Nutrition with specialization in obesity and weight management, and Post-Graduate Certificate in Eating Disorders, while I ensure I keep my professional development up to date by attending seminars for a range of conditions.
Before your first consultation you will be asked to fill in a nutrition and dietetics questionnaire, providing details of your diet, symptoms, health history and lifestyle, in order to enable an initial assessment to take place.

At the consultation, I will gather additional information from you to answer any questions raised by the questionnaire and to ensure that all information provided has been fully understood. After discussion, Penny will outline some of the possible areas to focus on to improve your health. You may be referred to your GP for medical tests if any areas for concern are identified during the consultation.
