About me

Hi, I’m Jonathan.

I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 8 years of experience working with people suffering with anxiety, depression and relationship problems. I can offer individual or couples’ therapy and I have training in Compassion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Couples Therapy for Depression and Emotion-Focused Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

The variety of training I’ve received allows me to provide an effective and unique treatment which caters to the needs of you as an individual. My approach in treatment focuses on providing a supportive and compassionate place to talk through difficult issues, practical skills and techniques to produce beneficial change and new awareness of how to live a rich and fulfilling life.

All the approaches I have been trained in are evidence-based treatments used by the NHS. I have consistently provided effective therapy to hundreds of patients in the NHS allowing a successful recovery from a variety of mental health conditions including;

Work Stress, Depression, Low Self-esteem, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Panic Disorder, Health Anxiety, Grief and Bereavement, Relationship and Marriage Problems.
