About me
I qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School, London in 2002, during which time I also undertook an integrated BSc in Immunology. I completed my Specialist Respiratory and General Medical training both in London and Oxford, and took time out from this to undertake research focusing on Pulmonary Fibrosis and Sarcoidosis. I was awarded the degree of DPhil in Clinical Medicine at Oxford University (Worcester College) for this work.
I have expertise in most areas of respiratory medicine including asthma, cough, infection/pneumonia, bronchiectasis, COPD and thromboembolic disease, with a sub specialty interest in Sarcoidosis and Interstitial Lung Diseases (Pulmonary Fibrosis, including those related to Rheumatological Autoimmune Diseases).
I was appointed Consultant in General and Respiratory Medicine at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2017, where I am also the clinical lead for Interstitial Lung Diseases.
