- Short Term Psychodynamic Therapy
I am a Senior Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work within its strict ethical framework. I see adults and adolescents suffering from anxiety, depression, behavioural and relationship problems or a range of difficulties in coping. This may be the result of loss, change, trauma, or abuse, but is often less easy to explain. The psychodynamic approach focuses on the underlying causes, to achieve lasting changes through increased self-awareness and understanding. This is not a "quick fix" therapy but one which is built on a solid therapeutic working relationship, adapted sensitively to the needs of the individual.
