About me

In practice as a therapist for more than a decade, I specialise in counselling and psychotherapy to support individuals experiencing workplace stress, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression and low self esteem.

- Are you feeling easily overwhelmed and lacking in confidence?

- Are you struggling in your relationships?

- Do you wish you could 'move on' and get your life back on track?

I can help you discover a path to a new way forward in your life. I will support you to explore the thoughts, feelings and judgements that you are experiencing, to discover those that feel authentic and those that are keeping you feeling stuck and powerless. As the therapeutic relationship unfolds you will gradually come to a more peaceful relationship with your self - a more calm and accepting appreciation of who you are, how you got here and what you wish for.

The therapy I offer is called the person centred approach. This is a non-directive type of counselling and psychotherapy which works to help you find your own best answer to your situation. This can really benefit you if you feel stuck or are having difficulty trusting your own judgement. Former clients have reported feeling calmer and more confident in both work and relationships.

1. Contact me today for a brief discussion about your needs, using the phone or email address below.

2. Book a face-to-face initial consultation appointment lasting 50 minutes, to discover if my way of working could be helpful or meaningful for you.

All consultations are strictly confidential and take place in peaceful, comfortable surroundings. Choose from my consulting rooms in West Norwood (close to Streatham, Dulwich and Clapham) or London Bridge (close to the city, Waterloo and Canary Wharf). Please note spaces at London Bridge are limited.

You don’t have to do anything special to prepare for the session - just bring yourself. Your thoughts, feelings, hopes and fears are important to me. Nothing is expected of you and you will not be judged or diagnosed but you will be heard and I will pay attention to the way you see and feel about things.

As a person centred therapist, I relate to you in a real and present way, with my mind and embodied feelings. It's the quality of this relationship that can help you find your own best answer to what you're looking for.

Clients I have worked with have reported feeling more able to:

- Express themselves freely
- Resolve dilemmas
- Feel more calm
- Identify creative solutions
- Feel more ‘playful‘

Contact me today to book an appointment for an initial consultation and find out if my therapy could help you.

In my career as a therapist I have worked in many different settings including the NHS, children’s services and community services. I developed and delivered a bespoke gardening therapy practice for adolescents and, prior to my career as a counsellor, I worked for many years as a creative in the music industry.

As a BACP registered and BACP accredited counsellor, I abide by the BACP’s Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions and regularly undertake professional development training to expand and develop my practice. I have regular clinical supervision and am fully insured.
