About me

I’m a BACP accredited counsellor & psychotherapist working in Nottingham. I’ve experience of working in the NHS in a mental health setting as well as a specialist sexual violence service, as well as over 10 years working privately.

I am currently offering sessions via Zoom & Telephone and from July able to offer some face to face sessions again.

I offer therapy in a compassionate, caring and client-focused way. I work with people to help them gain understanding and to find more helpful and considered ways to manage their difficulties. There is no magic wand in therapy – it does take hard work but I will be that compassionate ally as you work through things.

I have extensive experience of working with a range of common mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, work problems, life stage & change. I have both experience & training in working with trauma and understand the complexity of the impact and the nature of recovery.
