Dr Carolyn Bell qualified from University College London in 2003 and undertook higher specialist training locally within the West Midlands. She is a Consultant Rheumatologist at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust providing NHS clinics at Warwick and Stratford Upon Avon Hospitals and prior to this held a rheumatology consultant post in Worcester.
She has a broad base of experience and knowledge in general rheumatology but has a particular interest in inflammatory arthritides, such as rheumatoid arthritis. Dr Bell is lead for Clinical Governance and dedicated in providing her patients with the highest standards of care with a compassionate, personalised approach.
Over and above her clinical work Dr Bell is Secretary to the Midland Rheumatology Society, honorary consultant at the Birmingham Women and Childrens Hospital and is actively engaged in teaching the next generation of healthcare professionals.
