About me

I am a Consultant Nurse and Psychotherapist working in the NHS and Independent health sector. I have an Msc in CBT and hold full Accreditation with BABCP. I have completed training in EMDR and I am a member of EMDR UK. I have 25 years’ experience providing care and psychological therapy to people experiencing a wide range of mental health problems including psychological and emotional problems associated with long term physical health problems, cancer and chronic pain. I have many years experience in Perinatal mental health providing treatment for tokophobia (fear of childbirth), childbirth trauma, depression and anxiety disorders related to pregnancy and motherhood.
Understanding that one size does not fit all, I have undertaken training in Counselling, Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy and Mindfulness which enables me to tailor therapy to suit an individual’s needs.
