About me

Dr Clark is a General Physician with a special interest in Stroke and Geriatric Medicine. He works at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and is based at the Princess Royal University Hospital site. He currently holds the positions of Stroke Consultant and Clinical Director for Transformation.

Having graduated from the renowned Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine, Dr Clark gained expertise at a number of central London hospitals to complete his specialist training in General, Geriatric and Stroke Medicine. He was appointed as a Consultant Physician at King’s College Hospital in 2013, and routinely provides holistic medical care to older adults in both emergency, inpatient and clinic settings. In doing so, Dr Clark has become adept at applying his medical expertise to individuals, who frequently have complicated medical problems and are taking multiple medications, to develop tailored diagnostic and treatment plans.

In 2016 Dr Clark moved to the Princess Royal University Hospital to take up the position of Stroke Consultant and Clinical Lead. He has become an expert in acute stroke treatment, stroke prevention and the management symptoms following stroke. He treats a large number of patients in his weekly stroke clinic and is skilled in the administration of intramuscular botulinum toxin for upper limb spasticity following Stroke. He provides inpatient care on the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit and Stroke Rehabilitation Unit, and participates in the transient ischemic attack (TIA) and thrombolysis services.
