Born in Malta; moved to London to study Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine and trained in Haematology at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford, St Thomas' Hospital, London, and completed my specialty training at Southampton University Hospitals and Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

My main focus is on specialty training. I am the Haematology Specialty Tutor for RBFT. I am also R&D lead for Haematology for RBFT.
I am also Principal Investigator for a number of clinical trials in Myeloma, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia. I have also been Principal Investigator in pharmaceutical company sponsored early phase clinical trials.
