About me

Aleeza is a registered dietitian specialising in eating disorders, weight management and bariatric (weight loss) surgery. She graduated cum laude with an Honours degree in Dietetics and was awarded the degree ‘MSc Clinical Nutrition (Eating Disorders)’ with distinction from University College London (UCL). She has been practising since 2004 and has extensive experience in working with people of all ages in various NHS settings, the private sector and has also worked in corporate wellness for more than 10 years. She is currently the Lead Eating Disorders Dietitian for one of London’s largest NHS Trusts and manages the in-patient, out-patient and day-hospital dietetic treatment programmes. Having also studied psychology, she is an expert in behavioural change counselling to support patients, both underweight and overweight, to achieve and sustain a healthy weight. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA). She is also a member of the BDA’s Mental Health Interest Group and the London Eating Disorders Dietetic Group (LEDDG). She lectures on eating disorders, obesity and weight management for various tertiary institutions including University College London (UCL), University of Hertfordshire and University of South Wales.
