About me

Jonathan Makanjuola is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at King's College Hospital with a specialist interest in bladder cancer (Clinical Lead), stone disease and upper urinary tract transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). He was the first recipient of the prestigious BAUS/WCE Endourology fellowship, where he travelled to Sri Lanka to learn percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL - a keyhole surgery procedure to remove kidney stones) and surgical management of advanced stone disease.


He is a deputy editor for the journal of endoluminal endourology, and has published and peer reviewed numerous publications in international urological journals. Jonathan has presented over 40 abstracts at the American Urological Association (AUA) , British Association of Urological surgeons (BAUS) , European association of Urology (EAU) and the Société Internationale d'Urologie (SIU) meetings.
