About me

Mr Yves van Roon attended King’s College London Medical School and subsequently trained in the East of England region, completing his specialisation in Urogynaecology at Cambridge University Hospital. The main aim of Urogynaecology is to treat patients with urinary symptoms and incontinence as well as symptoms of prolapse. Treatments can vary from lifestyle changes, physiotherapy, to medical and surgical interventions. A full range of treatments are available without the need for any mesh placement.
In addition, Mr Van Roon has experience and expertise in managing general gynaecological conditions including menstrual and post-menopausal problems. Minimally invasive or laparoscopic approaches are always offered where possible.
Prior to pursuing a career in medicine Mr van Roon trained as a clinical psychologist and he adopts a very patient-oriented approach when treating patients. He has a keen interest in ensuring patients receive individualised care that is most suitable for them, taking into account their needs and wishes.
